We’re a women-powered, globally inspired catering and events company on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Founded in 2015 by New York native and French Culinary Institute, Chef Sarah Flynn, Eathereal Kitchen is a modern American boutique catering and events company located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.  Sarah and her team will work closely with you to create a flawless and delicious experience that brings your vision to life.

Our motto in the kitchen is “Earth Out”. That means we’re using the best local, seasonal, sustainable ingredients that we can get our hands on. We don’t waste: we think of delicious ways to use the whole product, nose to tail (or stem to stalk). We think globally: we incorporate techniques and flavors that have inspired us during our international travels.   

In addition to private client work, Sarah and Eathereal Kitchen can support your next corporate event, and have designed large scale affairs for corporate clients including Chloe, Gilt Groupe and Tommy Hilfiger, among many others.

T H E  O W N E R S

Sarah Flynn is the Founder and Executive Chef of Eathereal Kitchen. Sarah's unique culinary style is influenced by her classical training at New York City's French Culinary Institute, her extensive travels throughout South America and Africa, and years living abroad in India and Europe.

Sarah's love of shared meals and her joy of cooking for others was established early on in her childhood through nightly family dinners and celebratory gatherings. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Political Science and Art History, Sarah worked in the art world before entering the culinary scene. Following a brief stint in restaurants, she learned she preferred the creativity and collaboration of the catering world. Prior to founding Eathereal Kitchen, Sarah served as the Executive Chef of Shiraz Events, and was also the Executive Chef of Susie's Supper Club, where she helped to grow the company from a catering and prepared food delivery service to a frozen food line, boutique café and cookbook.

Leah Concannon is Eathereal Kitchen's Director of Marketing and Business Development, and resident Jill of All Trades. She's the one making sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. Prior to joining Eathereal Kitchen, Leah worked as the visual communications manager for a major medical website. She was bitten by the culinary bug and joined Eathereal Kitchen full time in 2016. Leah is a Manhattan native, bilingual world traveler and certified yoga instructor. She is a graduate of Occidental College and currently resides in Brooklyn.
