Before we get started, we recommend checking out the FAQ’s below to give you more insight into the event planning process and how we’d work together. Our goal is to ensure you end up with the event of your dreams!
How does the planning process work?
After you fill out the contact form on our website, we’ll set up a phone call or email exchange (whatever is more convenient for you) to discuss basic event details- location, time, party type, guest count, menu & service needs, dietary restrictions and budget expectations. The more detail you can provide in your initial outreach, the better!
Following our call, we will send you a preliminary proposal for review, which will include menus and the cost breakdown of any other event services needed (such as staff, rentals, etc). You will receive the custom proposal in seven business days.
How much will my event cost? Why do you need to know my budget?
There is no “one size fits all” approach to catering and event planning. Frankly, we like it that way! Every event is unique and we pride ourselves in helping our clients make the right choices for their specific needs. We will provide recommendations for you once we understand your budget and your vision.
Do you have menus posted on your site? I would like to order from some online menus.
We invite you to explore the menus online from some of our past events so you can get a sense of Eathereal Kitchen's style and approach. We custom-tailor our menus to meet each client's specific needs, so we may suggest items that you do not see on our website.
Who is Chef Sarah Flynn?
Sarah Flynn is the founder and fearless leader of Eathereal Kitchen. She is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison and the French Culinary Institute. Sarah has over ten years of catering industry experience in NYC creating events both large and small.
Do you offer tastings?
Tastings are offered for large-scale, full-service events like corporate holiday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings and galas. Tastings do have a cost, but if you choose to proceed with an event, 50% of the tasting fees will be removed from your final bill.
Do you have an event minimum?
We do our best to accommodate smaller budgets for non-profit and charity organizations, but overall, our budgets start at a minimum of $1500 for an event.
How long will it take to get my proposal?
Following our initial call, we will be able to create a custom proposal for your review within seven business days.
What does “Earth Out” Mean?
When we’re in the kitchen, we’re all about “Earthing Out.” We’re using the best local, seasonal, sustainable ingredients that we can get our hands on. We don’t waste: we think of delicious ways to use the whole product, from stem to stalk. We think globally: we incorporate techniques and flavors that have inspired us during our international travels.
